Let’s face it, making any work of fiction is hard, writers spend long hours hearing the characters voices in their heads, surviving on a diet of snack food and sugar, and get very little sleep due because their brains refuse to shutoff.
While they suffer to create literary masterpieces, what most readers do not know, is that their characters suffer too. Not just in the story, they suffer within their minds. They are right there with them--living the adventure. They spend the long hours finding themselves in various scenarios, outcomes, and bloopers. And as a writer, you get the joy of watching it all unfold like a movie.
